Frogs, sometimes referred to as toads, are enemies in the Super Cat Tales series, Drop Wizard series and Dyna Boy series.

Physical appearance

Frogs have a green, blue or brown body with a white underbelly. They have longer visible front legs and shorter, stubbier hind legs. Frogs have two nostrils that are a darker shade of their body color and black eyes that are curved. Green and blue frogs have a shine to them on their back. Blue and brown frogs only appear in Mineblast!! and Dyna Boy.

In the Super Cat Tales games, only green frogs appear, however, their bodies do not have the shine on the back seen in their appearances in the Dyna Boy series and Drop Wizard series.

Behavior

Frogs will make two small hops then one large hop along the ground in the Super Cat Tales games. The larger hop is high enough that the cat can walk under while it is in the air. They will turn in the opposite direction after making the large hop. When in the water, they will hop and float along the surface among the waves.

In the Dyna Boy series, frogs will continually jump back and forth and can leap higher than Dyna Boy. Blue frogs jump a greater height than brown frogs.

Strategy

• Super Cat Tales: PAWS - Frogs can be defeated by running into them from any side with any cat. They can also be defeated with a single hit from an attacking helper.
• Super Cat Tales 2 - Frogs can be defeated by running into them with McMeow, Olli or Robo Kitty. If they are in the water, the player can also hit them while equipped with a dive mask.
• Drop Wizard series - Frogs can be stunned from any side with a projectile as long as they are on the ground. Running into them once stunned will cause them to be defeated and leave behind a fruit.
• Dyna Boy series - Frogs will instantly be destroyed if they are caught in the blast of TNT. In Dyna Boy, the player will gain 200 points for defeating a brown frog and 300 points for a blue one.

Other

• In Super Cat Tales: PAWS, frogs appear as a catchable creature. They can be caught in Fishing Spot 1 at dusk and night.
• In Drop Wizard Tower, players can transform all enemies into frogs by obtaining the green wand pickup. Likewise, players can be temporarily transformed into frogs if they make contact with a warlock's projectile.
