Queen Beetle
The Queen Beetle is a boss in Super Cat Tales and Drop Wizard Tower and as an enemy in Super Cat Tales: PAWS.
Appearance[edit]
The Queen Beetle is significantly larger than all other beetles seen in the game. Her shell is dark purple with a skull design on the side and a large spike on top.

Super Cat Tales[edit]
The Queen Beetle appears at the end of World 1-7 ("Beetle Brawl") in Super Cat Tales. Upon waking, the Queen Beetle will start walking in a clockwise direction along the rectangular platform in the centre of the enclosed space. If Alex is on the top of the platform and in front of the Queen Beetle, she will charge towards him until she reaches the right edge, to which she will continue walking around. To defeat her, the player must ram into one of the walls - designated by two X's on either side - while the beetle is walking upside down. This action causes the Queen Beetle to fall down immediately and die.
Once the battle is finished, the top grey blocks will disappear, allowing the player to continue upwards. It is not possible for the player to go back down after the boss is defeated.
Drop Wizard Tower[edit]
The Queen Beetle also appears in level 18 of Drop Wizard Tower. Unlike Super Cat Tales, the Queen Beetle walks in a counter-clockwise direction around the larger square-shaped platform within the area. As she walks, smaller wood beetles drop from the top of the screen onto various areas of the platform. After a brief stun period, they will also walk around whichever platform they land on.
The player must defeat the Queen Beetle by pushing stunned wood beetles into her. In general, the player is required to deal 3 HP of damage to defeat her.
Super Cat Tales: PAWS[edit]
The Queen Beetle reappears as a larger version of the beetle enemy in Super Cat Tales: PAWS. So far, she has only appeared in 1-Fortress.
