Sandy Shore is the 2nd area in Super Cat Tales. It's a sandy beach with fishes, squids and urchins. The boss of this area is the Big Fin, that lives deep in the underwater ruins

Levels[edit]

2-1: Sandy Beach[edit]

This is the first level that is set in a beach. Green carps and squids are the basic enemies of this level.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell- This bell is at the beginning of the level, under a pool of water,

2-2: A new Friend[edit]

In this level, squids are harder to avoid, and the player have to avoid urchins underwater. Red jumpers are introduced as enemies jumping out of water to attack the player above them, and the player can stand on yellow moving pad to avoid them. Brutus joins the team in this level.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - After reaching the platform where the player meets Brutus, the player can dash to the left, climb up the wall, and find this bell.
  • Brutus - After passing the first part of water area, the player meets Brutus, and he joins the team.
  • Bell 2 - The bell is in the bottom left of the second part of water. This requires Shinji's ability of passing through strong currents.

2-3: Sea Monkeys[edit]

This level introduces switching cats. Some monkeys stand on platforms and throw baseballs towards the player, others just sleeps in swim rings.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - The bell is at the beginning of the level, on a stone platform. After reaching the pink spot where the player needs to change to Alex, the player can climb up walls, then dashes to the left to get it.
  • Bell 2 - The bell can be obtained by running through all the sand castles.

2-4: Squid on the Rocks[edit]

The player must switch cat to Brutus to crush the stone walls while avoiding squids. Blue pads are introduced.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Just after crushing the first stone wall, the player can climb up walls to get the bell.
  • Bell 2 - The bell is found in the second part of water.

2-5: Windy Harbor[edit]

This level takes place in a harbor, featuring snowballs and fish creatures as NPCs.

Collectables[edit]

  • Key 1 - At the beginning of level, the player can dive into water and can found it on the left. This requires Shinji's ability.
  • Key 2 - The bell is found on the top part of the lighthouse.
  • Bell - Found in the last part of water, and it also requires Shinji's ability.

2-6: Water Ruins 1[edit]

Different from previous levels, most part of the level is underwater, and the player must swim fast to avoid being blown by strong currents and colide into urchins, Big Fin also appears in the background.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Switch cat to Shinji and swim up the first current. The bell is on the wodden passage on the left.
  • Bell 2 - The bell is found by collecting all the red coins, which are hidden in the main part of the level.

Secret exit[edit]

The exit can be entered by switching cat to Shinji and swimming up the second current.

2-?: Count the Fishes[edit]

The player must count how many fish swim pass in the water, then swims to the passage with right number to get the bell.

2-7: Water Ruins 2[edit]

The player meets Shinji in this level.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - This bell is above the beginning pink spot. To obtain it, the player must switch cat to Brutus, run across blue pads and crush the stone wall.
  • Shinji - After finishing the first part of the level, he can be found on a wooden bridge.
  • Bell 2 - After reaching the second pink spot (if the pink spot at the beginning counts as the first) , switch cat to Alex and climb up the wall on the right, and the player can find the bell.

2-8: Big Fin[edit]

The player encounters Big Fin, the second boss.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - The bell can be obtained by running through all the sand castles.
  • Bell 2 - After defeating Big Fin by helper, the bell can be obtained where the chase starts.
  • Bell 3 - The bell is found among pillars.
