Big Fin
Big Fin is a boss in Super Cat Tales and Drop Wizard Tower. It also appears as an enemy in Super Cat Tales 2.
Physical appearance[edit]
Big Fin has a circular body with the top half in blue and the bottom half in white. It has a round pink mouth with a white shine and barbels that are in a lighter shade of blue. It has one dorsal fin, a tall tailfin and a side fin that is pointed to the right, all of which are in yellow. It has a pair of black eyes that are curved.
In Drop Wizard Tower, Big Fin has a wavy pattern that separates the solid blue and white parts of its body.

Super Cat Tales[edit]
Big Fin appears at the end of World 2-8 in Super Cat Tales. Upon diving to the bottom of the water, access to the surface is closed off, and Big Fin will begin to pursue the player. The player has to keep swimming to the right until they reach an accessible opening to the surface again. Along the path, the player dodges firebars as well as navigating through pillars, which can obstruct the path.
It is possible to kill Big Fin by equipping a helper that can shoot enemies before the chase. The helper will defeat Big Fin before the player reaches the firebars, allowing the player to retrieve a bell found in the far left of the area. Once the player passes the last obstacle of firebars, they can no longer continue all the way left.
Drop Wizard Tower[edit]
Big Fin is the second boss encountered in Drop Wizard Tower. The boss swims just below the surface of the water and jumps out of the water when the player passes over it, causing red jumpers to land on either of the two shorter platforms at the top. The player must knock a stunned red jumper into Big Fin when it is out of the water. Upon doing this two times, the boss is defeated.
Enemy role[edit]
Big Fin first appears in World 2-1 of Super Cat Tales 2. In the cutscene that precedes the stage, Big Fin jumps out of the water and breaks the ship that Alex, McMeow and Shinji are travelling on, thus disrupting their mission. As the player traverses through the level, they will encounter Big Fin patrolling the body of water at the end. Similar to Drop Wizard Tower, Big Fin will jump out of the water when the player passes above it. Unlike other enemies in Super Cat Tales 2, Big Fin does not die upon hitting the player and is the only water related enemy that cannot be killed with the dive mask.
