Shadow minion
Shadow minions are enemies in Super Cat Tales 2.
Physical appearance[edit]
Shadow minions have a semicircular-shaped body with a wider, flatter base. Their bodies are dark gray with a black outline. They have a pair of white eyes shaped like thin, vertical lines.
Behavior[edit]
Shadow minions are found on flat surfaces and slide back and forth, stopping at the end of platforms or at a wall. As they move, their bodies are fully out and will only retract once they pause at the end of their trajectory. This behavior is opposite to the previously encountered red goo minion, who retracts its body while moving and expands it while paused.
Strategy[edit]
Shadow minions can be defeated by running into them from any side with Olli or Robo Kitty while they are moving and their bodies are expanded. Since they do not cause the player to take damage while they are still, the player can wait until the shadow minion is retracted at one end and start moving away before it can expand. The player can also use Luna to avoid taking damage while standing in the path of the shadow minion as it moves.
