Giant Keratops are enemies in Super Cat Tales 2. They also appear as non-playable characters in Maguma Bastion.

Physical appearance

The giant Keratops is larger in size compared to the surrounding enemies in the area. It has a dark blue body with lighter colored bumps on its back and a short tail. There are three white horns sticking out of its head horizontally - two on either sides of the top of its forehead and one just below its eyes. The giant Keratops has a pair of black eyes shaped like thin, horizontal lines and a mouth with a small white tip on the upper part curving downwards. There are two small white horns on either side at the very top of its head and white toe spots on its feet.

Behavior

Alex stands on a platform above two giant Keratops in 6-🏠.

A giant Keratops can be found running back and forth on flat ground at a constant rate. It runs at the same speed as normal Keratops, but is faster to change direction.

In Maguma Bastion, two giant Keratops can be found next to a herder NPC. These remain stationary and the player can pass through them.

Strategy

The giant Keratops can be defeated by running into it from behind with Olli. On the first hit, the giant Keratops will be stunned, and hitting it again while in this state will successfully defeat it and drop a bell.

If the giant Keratops is run into from the front, the player will take damage at the same time as the giant Keratops is stunned. The player can still defeat the giant Keratops with any other cat besides Olli if they equip the bandage to heal quicker than the giant Keratops can recover.
