Turnips are enemies in Super Cat Tales 2, Drop Wizard and Drop Wizard (browser).

Physical appearance[edit]

Turnips have a round body that is narrower at the top and pale colored with darker horizontal stripes that start from the edge of the body and stop before the middle. They have green leaves and a pair of orange feet. They also have a pair of black eyes shaped like thin, vertical lines.

In Super Cat Tales 2, turnips have two leaves on their head, whereas in the Drop Wizard games, they have three leaves.

Behavior[edit]

Turnips hidden in World 1-3 of SCT2. Their leaves are a lighter shade of green, such as the third pair from the left.

Turnips walk back and forth on the ground, turning at set points. In Super Cat Tales 2, turnips will occasionally pause before resuming their walking pattern. They may also spawn hidden among leaves sticking out of the ground and will pop out when the player approaches. Once out of the ground, the turnip will continuously walk back and forth.

In the Drop Wizard games, turnips will turn at the end of platforms and walk at a constant pace. When the player faces them on the same platform, they will hide underground. If their leaves are knocked off while they are hidden from rolling enemies, turnips will immediately emerge in an angered state and run along platforms, falling at the edges.

Strategy[edit]

In Super Cat Tales 2, turnips can be defeated by running into them from any side with McMeow, Olli or Robo Kitty. If hidden, the player must wait for the turnip to pop out of the ground before they can defeat it.

In the Drop Wizard games, turnips can be stunned by firing a projectile from behind on the same platform or from any side when on an adjacent platform. Angered turnips can be stunned from any side. They can only be defeated with rolling enemies when they are out of the ground.
