The giant canyon mole is an enemy in Super Cat Tales 2.

Physical appearance

The giant canyon mole has a yellow semicircle-shaped head with a thin brown line at the bottom. Two tufts of black hair stick out in curves at the top of its head. It has a pair of black, curved eyes and a pink mouth. It is always seen with a tan dirt clod surrounding it.

Behavior

The giant canyon mole is encountered hidden underground, its clod moving back and forth along the ground at a constant pace. If the player is on the same ground as the giant canyon mole and passes over its clod, the enemy will pop out of the ground and remain stationary for a brief moment before going back underground. It will pop out of the ground again after moving a short distance if the player remains completely still.

Strategy

The giant canyon mole is found on a flat area of ground below a row of blue platforms. If the player successfully passes over the blue platforms, they can avoid being hit. The player can also use Luna and remain still as the giant canyon mole pops out of the ground. Olli can also be used to attack the enemy, though the player is more likely to take damage as they need to be over the enemy for it to pop out of the ground. The first hit will stun the enemy, and hitting it again while stunned will defeat it.
