Lord Iridium was the main antagonist of Super Cat Tales 2. He was the leader of the Tin Army who wanted to take the moon crystal and use its power. He is killed by Luna in the water temple in World 5. He is brought back to life by Dark Matter and returns as Dark Lord Iridium in World 7, making him the only recurring boss in the game.

Appearance[edit]

Like all the Tin Army leaders, Lord Iridium has highlights of a specific color. In his case, he has red highlights, with his cape, shoulder pads and armor chestpiece being red. His helmet also has red strips on it. He is never seen without his armor on, and his helmet covers his face in shadow.

Boss fights[edit]

World 5- He is first fought at the end of world 5, in the water temple. He starts by walking towards the player. If he walks into the player, it is likely they will die, as he can easily hit the player two times in a row. To avoid him, the player must climb a wall and jump over him, at which point Lord Iridium will turn around and continue chasing them. After a certain period of time, Lord Iridium will attempt to hit the player. If he accidentally hits the wall instead, a pillar from the ceiling will fall and hit his head. This cycle is repeated 3 times, with Lord Iridium being faster each time. On his third time being hit, the boss fight will end, though he is left relatively unscathed from the damage dealt, and only dies due to falling down a deep pit in the cutscene that ensues.

World 7- After being revived by Dark Matter, Lord Iridium returns as Dark Lord Iridium, as the final boss of the game, at the end of world 7. This is a plane boss fight, and significantly more simple than the first fight against him. For the first part of the fight, he will be protected by an energy field. He will fire lasers towards the player with his hand, but after two lasers, his energy field will wear off, and the player can shoot Lord Iridium to damage him. After this, his shield is reactivated and the cycle repeats 3 times, with him being faster each time and, on the third time being shot, Lord Iridium falls from the sky.
