Fire soldier
Fire soldiers are enemies in Super Cat Tales 2. They first appear in World 3-3.
Physical appearance[edit]
Fire soldiers have a rectangular body that is light gray with a shine. In the middle of their head, they have a V-shaped headpiece that sticks out at the top. They have a pair of black, curved eyes, a dark gray crank and a pair of round red feet that are flat at the bottom.
Behavior[edit]
Fire soldiers walk back and forth along the ground and turn at ledges and walls. After every six steps, they will stop walking and retract their feet so that their body fully touches the ground. They will then shoot six fireballs into the air before resuming their walking pattern. These fireballs travel in a tall arc and disappear upon impact with the ground.
Strategy[edit]
Fire soldiers can be defeated without taking damage by running into them from any side with McMeow, Olli or Robo Kitty. To reduce the chance of being hit by the fireballs, the player should wait until the fire soldier starts walking to defeat one. They can also approach an attacking fire soldier with the shield item equipped to protect them from any fireballs that hit the front side of the cat.
