World 6 takes place in a magma world, where Alex and the other cats face Captain Lace and the Tin Pirates. This world's boss is Rigs in his helicopter.

Synopsis[edit]

After facing Lord Iridium in the water temple, the water temple collapses and the cats escape to the lava world. When Alex and the team enter the lava world, they are faced by Captain Lace, the last remaining captain of the Tin Army, who has taken over the Tin Army and renamed it to the Tin Pirates.

When the team is attacked by Captain Lace, Dark Matter begins to cover the sun, scaring Lace and his crew.

As the team continues to make progress throughout World 6, the team encounter a jet, which they use to fly to Captain Lace's ship.

In Captain Lace's ship, Olli messes with the engine, in the end of the level, the team is ambushed by Captain Lace and some Tin Pirates, however, Captain Lace is distracted by the malfunctioning engine, which gives time for Alex and the gang to fly away on another plane on board.

After the team defeats Captain Lace, they travel to Maguma Bastion. In Maguma Bastion, the villagers speak a different language, which requires the gang to have the Dictionary item to read the villager's text. If the gang uses the dictionary, they can speak to the king, who gives them access to Azure Lane, which allows them to travel to Ultima.

When the gang reaches Azure Lane, they board a bullet train which will take them to Ultima. However, when the gang boards the train, Shinji and Luna go to the other cars to explore, however, they are attacked by Rigs, who kidnaps Luna. The gang have to fight off Rigs in his attack helicopter. When the gang reaches the head car, Rigs has to fly away due to there being a tunnel ahead.

6-1: A Dark Dawn[edit]

This level is the first of World 6 where dark matter reveals itself. The player has to navigate a bumpy terrain while dodging fireballs spit by nearby enemies.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Found in the second room, after exiting a small room made from wood, use Brutus to break the bricks on the floor to get the bell.
  • Bell 2 - In the third room, go above the door with Alex and Olli's cape. Then, use Amy to get the bell.
  • Bell 3 - In the third room, jump from the first tree stump to a platform with a fire plant minion, and then jump from the platform to a ledge to the left with Olli's cloak.
  • Gear - Found in the second room, jump from the stump of the first tree onto the cliff using Olli's cloak, and use Alex and Olli's cloak to climb on top of the tree.

6-2: Lava Lake[edit]

This level features a large lake of lava. The player has to use geysers to progress the level and collect bells.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Found in the first room, use the eternal ember item to swim underneath the second platform with the fire plant minion, and swim into the long shaft, inside the underground lava lake, use Shinji to go between the two firebars and obtain the bell.
  • Bell 2 - In the first room use the stand on the first geyser while it is at maximum height, then jump from the geyser to the wall to the left, and go through the wall to get a bell.
  • Bell 3 - In the third room, go past the first set of geysers, and use the balloon item the go in the gap in the ceiling.

Secret exit[edit]

The red checkered pad is found near the start of the level, on the topmost platform. Reaching it requires the player to make a timed wall-jump off the top left edge of the tree trunk that has a flame minion moving around it. If done correctly, the player should be able to reach the top of the smaller platform and climb up to the left where the red checkered pad is located.

6-?: Lava Bubbles[edit]

This level requires the player to swim in the lava with the eternal ember item. This level's challenge is to dodge lava bubbles to collect a bell.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Found in the first room, jump past the entrance to the underground lava lake, and use a shovel on the clod of dirt at the end of the screen.
  • Bell 2 - Dodge every lava bubble in the first section to obtain a bell.
  • Bell 3 - After the lava bubble dodging section, go to the left to find a bell.

6-3: Stampede Island[edit]

This level features many a bumpy landscape, complete with Keratops enemies that charge in different directions.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Found in the first room, use the geyser to jump onto the hanging wooden box, then jump from wooden box to wooden box, then climb the ledge and enter the room, climb the bricks and wall to get to the ledge, then keep climbing all the ledges until the player get to the rope, jump from one ledge to grab onto the rope, then climb the rope until the player reaches the top ledge, then jump from the wooden pole to the platform with the bell on it.
  • Bell 2 - In the second room, use Brutus with the eternal ember item to break the bricks on the floor, then swim down the long shaft in the lava, enter the underground lava lake, then dodge the firebars until the player reaches a small room in the ceiling, in the top of that room go through the secret passage to get into a hole in the wall with a bell.
  • Bell 3 - In the third room, use Olli to defeat the large Keratops, which will drop a bell.

6-4: Tin Pirates[edit]

This level introduces the attack plane mechanic. The player boards a plane and flies to Captain Lace's ship. Olli hijacks Lace's engine and the gang escapes off of another attack plane on Lace's airship.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Use the jet to kill every hovering tin soldier, which will reward the player with a bell.
  • Bell 2 - In the second room, just before the section with the flamethrowers, use Olli and the balloon item to go up the pipe, and climb to the left to get to the room with the bell.
  • Bell 3 - In the third room, use the cannon to go to the left, then once the player breaks the bricks to enter a room, flip the switch in the room and go back to the cannon, now use the cannon to go to the newly open right passage, where the player will get a bell.

6-🏠: Maguma Bastion[edit]

This level features villagers that speak in an unknown language, the player needs the dictionary item to read the text. If the player brings a key to a mechanic's workshop, the mechanic will fix the Hikari City Ferris Wheel, allowing the player to obtain Brutus.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - In the second room, jump from the cooking pot to a small stand, and jump from the stand to a building with a fossil sign on it, go in the building and talk to the villager on the left. If the player collected a fossil an upcoming level, the villager will give Alex a bell.
  • Bell 2 - In the third room, go into the Keratops stables and use the shovel on a clod of dirt sitting under the left Keratops.
  • Bell 3 - In the first room, use Brutus and the eternal ember item to break the bricks on the floor and swim into the lava, go to the right in the lava lake and get the bell on top of the fire bar.

6-6: Fossil Site 1[edit]

This level features many levels and rooms of a mine, in which the player has to descend, this level also features a lot of bats, and the key needed to unlock the mechanic's workshop in 6-🏠.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - In the second room, after the player descends through the mine sections twice, there is a platform guarded by a bat, jump onto the wooden platform to get a bell.
  • Key 2 - In the third room, go to the far right, climb the wall and break the bricks on the ledge, then go back to the end of room two and enter the left door, then dodge the firebars and run to the left to get the key.
  • Bell 3 - In the fourth room, jump from the red controllable platform to the platform with an enemy, then jump onto the wall and wall jump to the platform with a bell.

6-7: Fossil Site 2[edit]

This level is a large complex cave which includes many different features like cannons and levers.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - In the second room, use Brutus to break the bricks on the floor to get to a cannon, use the cannon to get to a room in the ceiling, then run past the fire lizard and get the bell on the platform.
  • Bell 2 - In the fourth room with the cannons, go into the first cannon and shoot upwards, then in the new cannon shoot towards the right, giving the player a bell.
  • Fossil 3 - In the third room, at the very bottom there are three bricks in the wall, run into these bricks to reveal a secret room with a fossil.

6-8: Azure Lane[edit]

This level starts in a large bullet train, the cats sit down and have a small conversation before Luna and Shinji get up to go explore the train. Rigs kidnaps Luna and jumps away. Alex and the gang has to navigate the train and back away from Rigs, who is shooting at the gang with his attack helicopter.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - In the first room, use a shovel on the clod of dirt next to the crate.
  • Bell 2 - The first time the player are on top of the train, walk towards the left and go down the entrance, run past all the enemies and get the bell on the seat.
  • Bell 3 - When the player is inside of the train, use Amy and walk toward the left to crawl under the gap in the wall and grab the bell.
