McMeow is a playable character in Super Cat Tales 2 and Super Cat Tales: Magic Bridge!.

Appearance[edit]

McMeow is a brown cat with a large body build, similar to Brutus', with the exception that Brutus' body size is because he's obese while McMeow has a muscular body. He has a tuft of hair in his forehead and another maroon tufts at the sides. He has a scar in his left eye (right in our vision), but however, it switches places when looking to another side (similar to Amy's spots on her head), which is presumably a mistake. The end of his tail and his feet are white and he wears a tag on his neck.

Game information[edit]

Super Cat Tales 2[edit]

World 1-2[edit]

Before he encounters Alex, McMeow is locked in a cage, persumably caught by tin army. Soon after Alex gets caught, he breaks out of the cage and also frees Alex. Both he and Alex escape from the ship by jumping off the deck just moments before Commander Kobolt catches them. They land in Turnip Fields, where McMeow is about to part ways, but is urged to stay with Alex to help fight the Tin Army. McMeow agrees and offers to take Alex to Hikari City for additional assistance.

World 3-5[edit]

The team enters Guldburg and heads to a bar to gather information about the moon crystal. McMeow tells Shinji and Kuro to guard the entrance while he and Alex head towards the back, then he asks one knight about a "special stone" and is told to leave. Alex declares to the entire bar that they are looking for the moon crystal and receives a threat from the same knight. A red caped knight called Kalio stops the knight and sends him to patrol outside.

As a snowstorm passes, Kalio proceeds to tell Alex and McMeow about a time when he and his guards battled Lord Iridium close to the ancient mine. Iridium had taken out most of Kalio's guards and was about to take Kalio's own life when Luna saved him by causing an earthquake with the moon crystal, abruptly dispersing the fight. As a result, Kalio had lost the key to the ancient mine. Kalio informs them that she must be in the ancient mines, but refuses to lend assistance. Instead, he instructs the team to go find and bring him the key.

World 3-8 (Death)[edit]

In the cutscene from World 3-8, Alex and McMeow argue because they promised to take the key to open the door that leads to the cave where Commander Kobolt is fought, but McMeow wants Alex to give him the key. Kallio comes in, telling both that he shouldn't have trusted in them. Both notice him approaching to them. As Kallio gets close to them, he tells that he decided to head back to Guldburg after Luna saved him. In a flashback, the injured Kallio sees McMeow, Olli and Pascal about to fight with Lord Iridium and some tin robots. The cats kill the minions and face with Lord Iridium. The latter attacks Olli and Pascal, threatening McMeow to tell him about the moon crystal's whereabouts or he will "crush" Olli. McMeow stays silent and runs away. After the flashback ends, Alex gets somewhat surprised about it and asks McMeow if it is true. McMeow denies to answer and asks for the key, making Alex mad. However, McMeow hits him, opens the door and enters the cave. Kallio tells Alex that he should go home, but he decides to enter the cave.

In another cutscene from the same level, McMeow finds Luna, telling her to run away while he stays with Commander Kobolt. Commander Kobolt shoots McMeow with a laser beam, leaving him stunned. Alex sees McMeow, who tells him that he's sorry. After defeating Commander Kobolt, Alex and Luna reunite and realize that Kobolt is about to self-destruct himself and destroy the cave. McMeow comes in and tries to defend the duo from the explosion, telling Alex to bring Luna to the Underwater Temple because the moon crystal is the only thing powerful enough to defeat Iridium. Alex denies to leave, but McMeow tells him to hurry up. The red horned dragon appears so Alex and Luna ride it. Before getting onto the dragon, Alex sheds a tear as he looks at McMeow with the about-to-explode commander Kobolt. As they leave, McMeow, who says his last words: "Game over, tin can!", stays in the cave as Kobolt explodes, destroying the cave. McMeow presumably died during the explosion and is replaced by Olli later in the game, as of World 4-8, maintaining the same ability of running into enemies without spikes.

World 4-5[edit]

After Olli is healed, Alex colcludes that the only opportunity of stopping the Tin Army is to head to the water temple, per McMeow's orders. Olli approaches the team and asks where McMeow is. Alex tells Olli that McMeow "didn't make it" and offers his condolences. Olli is rather depressed about McMeow's death and asks the team to leave him alone.

After Olli joins the team, the player can come back and talk to Pascal. There, he tells the player more about Olli, and how McMeow took him and raised him as a kitten, indicating that McMeow's death leaves a severe phychological trauma to Olli. In turn, he will tell them to keep an eye on Olli.

World 7-5[edit]

McMeow's spirit appears in World 7-5, where the cats share rooms in Cuddle Hotel. When Olli laments that the team will not be able to defeat Dark Matter on the rooftop, McMeow's spirit appears in the full moon and motivates Olli to stand against evil with the help of his friends.
