Wind eggs are enemies in Super Cat Tales: PAWS. They first appear in World 1-2.

Physical appearance

Wind eggs have an egg-shaped body that is thinner at the top and wider and flat at the bottom. The top half of their body is white while the lower half of their body is green, and both halves are separated with a horizontal zigzag line. They have two black, thin hairs at the top of their head at varying lengths and a pair of black eyes shaped like thin horizontal lines. They have a round, pink mouth and a pair of yellow round feet that are flat at the bottom.

Behavior

Wind eggs walk back and forth along the ground in a fixed trajectory. If they face the player within a close proximity, they will stop walking and blow a continuous stream of air, pushing the player away from them. They will then stop blowing and make three tall leaps in place before resuming their normal walking pattern. These leaps are tall enough that the player can run under without hitting them with proper timing.

Strategy

Wind eggs can be defeated by running into them with any cat or in two hits from an attacking helper. They can be defeated from behind without having to face their wind ability. If the player faces a wind egg, they can run against the wind and not be pushed as far back. Some wind eggs may be situated in areas where being blown backwards can put the player at risk of running into additional hazards, such as the boulders in World 1-6.
