Travelers are enemies in Super Cat Tales: PAWS and Super Cat Tales 2.

Physical appearance

Travelers have an orange pear-shaped body with a white underbelly. They have two short orange arms with brown outlines, a pair of black eyes shaped like short horizontal lines and a black mouth in the shape of a small square. Travelers wear a red cap with a white front, red shoes with white soles and a brown backpack.

Behavior

Travelers will walk back and forth at a constant pace, turning at walls. When moving downhill, travelers will slide down the hill until they reach a flat surface or a ledge. Travelers will jump downwards from a ledge, but will not jump upwards onto a ledge. In some instances, travelers can be found asleep and will remain stationary even when approached.

Types

There are several types of travelers that have the same physical appearance, but may be seen holding items or equipped with certain tools or vehicles.

• Pogo - Bounces along the ground in high enough leaps for the player to run under. They can turn at walls and ledges or fall off or get stuck at them, depending on the level.
• Torch - Maintains the same behavior as a normal, walking traveler, but is only found in dark areas holding a torch, which provides a small radius of light.
• Skating - Slides back and forth along a contained icy surface and makes a tall leap in the air while moving horizontally. As the skating traveler turns, it will briefly pause as it tries to gain momentum in the opposite direction.
• Fishing - Remains stationary and asleep holding a fishing rod over the water. Their behavior is identical to a normal sleeping traveler.
• Rider - This traveler rides atop a mountain goat and has similar behavior to the mountain goat, except it can also leap off ledges in a downward direction.
• Snowball - Found on some floating platforms, this traveler holds a snowball and will throw it downwards when the player is nearby. The thrown snowballs will bounce several times before disappearing or until they hit the player. The traveler will regain another snowball after a short period of time.

Strategy

Travelers can be defeated with a single hit. This can be done by running into them from any direction with any cat in Super Cat Tales: PAWS or with an attacking helper. In Super Cat Tales 2, the player can defeat any traveler by running into them with McMeow, Olli or Robo Kitty.
