Gray goo minion
Gray goo minions are enemies in Super Cat Tales 2 and Super Cat Tales.
Physical appearance[edit]
Gray goo minions are semicircle-shaped with a gray body. They have a pair of yellow eyes shaped like thin vertical lines and a pink circle on the top side of their body.
Behavior[edit]
Gray goo minions slide along the ground and pause briefly before changing direction. In Super Cat Tales 2, gray goo minions can leap to ceilings and will not retract when they move. Some will move back and forth while others will move in a continuous direction. When approached, they may stop and expose three spikes near the top of their body, which they will retract after a brief period of time regardless of the player's position. The gray goo minion will then continue its pattern.
In Super Cat Tales, they will retract into the ground as they move and expand their bodies at the end of their trajectory and pause before sliding in the ground in the opposite direction. This behavior is similar to that of the red goo minion in Super Cat Tales 2.
Strategy[edit]
In Super Cat Tales 2, gray goo minions can be defeated by running into them with Olli, however, if they are run into while their spikes are out, they will damage the player. The player can also use Luna's ability, which will still be in effect even when the gray goo minion's spikes are expanded.
In Super Cat Tales, the player can defeat gray goo minions with an attacking helper equipped.
