Tin Army
The Tin Army, later known as the Tin Pirates, was the main enemy faction fought in Super Cat Tales 2, led by Lord Iridium.
History[edit]
The Tin Army was a team of tin machines that was led by Lord Iridium. It's primary goal was to obtain the moon crystal, a legendary artifact, and use it's power to take over the world. The moon crystal, at this time, was in the possession of Luna.
During the events of the game, Alex meets the Tin Army, and after it attacks him, and he finds out about its motives, he decides to stop it from reaching its goal. With the help of his friends, Alex begins systematically destroying the Tin Army's leaders, starting with destroying Commander Mizu in the Hikari city bay, then Commander Gorudo in the sand region's giant pyramid, where Gorudo was trying to purchase a dragon, and finally, Commander Kobolt in a cave, where Kobolt was trying to retrieve the moon crystal from Luna. Here, Luna joins Alex. After this, Lord Iridium recruits the Stargazers, but their leader is killed by Olli, and soon the team confronts Lord Iridium himself in the Water Temple, where Luna, with the help of the moon crystal, destroys Lord Iridium by weakening the floor underneath him, leading to him falling to his death, and bringing an end to the Tin Army's reign.
After Lord Iridium's death, Captain Lace took over as the head of the Tin Army, gathered what little forces the army had left, and renamed them the Tin Pirates, and planned on taking his revenge on the cats with them, but he chooses to retreat when Dark Matter arrives. The last appearance of the Tin Pirates themselves was on their ship, which was sabotaged by Olli. However, some corrupted Tin Pirates were fought in the final area of Super Cat Tales 2, the corrupted domain, where Lord Iridium and a few tin soldiers were revived and possessed by Dark Matter, but soon destroyed by the cats once again. The current status of the remaining Tin Pirates is unknown.
