Rabbits are enemies in Super Cat Tales 2.

Physical appearance[edit]

Rabbits have a round gray body that is narrower at the top with a round tail sticking out of the bottom-back side. They have short feet and two ears that curve upwards at a diagonal and have white tips. Rabbits have a pair of black eyes shaped like thin, vertical lines with brown pupils. They also have white cheek spots and a white underbelly.

Behavior[edit]

Rabbits make small hops along the ground and briefly pause after travelling a short distance before hopping again. They will turn and hop in the opposite direction once they reach a ledge or wall. If the player faces a rabbit directly on the same ground the rabbit travels on, the rabbit will turn and run away from the player, travelling up and over ledges and other elevated platforms. Once a rabbit is far enough away from the player, it will resume its regular hopping pattern.

Strategy[edit]

Rabbits can be defeated by running into them with Olli or Robo Kitty. Due to their fleeing nature, the player is more likely to defeat a rabbit from behind unless they are fast enough to catch up to the rabbit as it runs away. Rabbits near the start of a level can also be scared off-screen, though the rabbit will hop back into the screen's view as long as the player is not nearby.

Appearances by level[edit]

Trivia[edit]

  • Rabbits were originally designed as an enemy for the grassy areas and were cut from the original release of Super Cat Tales 2.[1] They would later be re-added to the game with the release of worlds 4 and 5.[2]
