This page details the policies of Neutronized Wiki. It may be changed in the future to include new policies, or to reword already existing ones.

Policies[edit]

Content[edit]

  • No vandalism or adding false and/or malicious content.
  • Fan theories, speculation and fanfiction may only be posted on a user's own page or subpage, e.g. Special:MyPage/Subpage name. These are not permitted on the mainspace or any other official namespace such as Template or the project namespace.
  • Fanart cannot be uploaded to this wiki. These include fanart related images, videos and audio. Fanart can be uploaded and shared on the official Super Cat Tales Discord server.
  • This wiki is a fork from the Fandom Neutronized Wiki. Content created prior to November 2023 was copied to this wiki as a starting point and attribution has been provided in this wiki's footer. While it is expected that both wikis may tackle similar subjects, copying edits from the Fandom wiki to this wiki after November 8, 2023, is not allowed. Any user caught doing so may receive a warning and, depending on the circumstance, may be blocked from editing.

Page creation[edit]

Pages must be created with some form of content on them. Do not create a completely blank page. At minimum, mainspace pages require an opening sentence briefly describing the subject ("Super Cat Tales is a mobile game by Neutronized.") and at least one category related to the page. Section names (depending on the page type) should also be set up, but do not have to have their content filled in on creation.

If a user creates a page with the bare minimum, they should add {{stub}} after the last paragraph of the text, though not adding this will not violate the policy.

Behaviour[edit]

  • Respect all users and don't be awful to people.
    • If a user does not follow certain standards, it's best to first reach out to them through their talk page or on the article talk page if the issue is with a particular article, thus assuming good faith.
  • Use common sense. Users who try to game the system by trying to get as close to breaking the rules or circumventing them will not be tolerated. The rules are set in place to ensure a functional wiki and community. It's okay to disagree with the rules, but squandering around helps no one.
  • Profanity is highly discouraged. Swearing to insult, annoy or spam users or Neutronized Wiki will result in action being taken. Profanities should not be used in mainspace article text unless incorporating a direct quotation verbatim in such an instance where no alternate means of presenting the information can be found. In these cases, it will almost always be necessary to bring the topic up on its talk page.

Warnings and bans[edit]

Depending on the severity of an offense, action will be taken in the form of a warning or a block. If the issue pertains one particular page, then that page may be protected. Generally, offenses such as uploading fanart or adding fan content to mainspace pages will result in the images and content being removed with an edit summary briefly explaining the reason for the removal. If the user persists, a message will be left on their talk page. Subsequent offenses will result in multiple warnings, and if the user does not comply after the second warning, they will be blocked from editing this wiki.

The majority of blocks issued on this wiki are temporary, and every block issued will have a reason provided in the block log. Blocked users will have their talk pages enabled, where they can contest the block if they feel it is unjustified. Vandalism or rudeness in a blocked user's messages will result in their talk page privileges being taken away.

There is zero tolerance for vandalism and any egregious signs are subject to an immediate block without warning. Subsequent offenses from the same user will result in extended blocks and, in the worst case scenario, an infinite block. Obvious signs of vandalism include:

  • Blanking pages
  • Spamming
  • Adding or replacing the entirety of a page's content with gibberish, irrelevant statements or similar nonsense
  • Nonsense edits not visible to the reader that are solely for the purpose of increasing one's edit count
  • Any edit made with the intention of trying to circumvent these policies or finding loopholes
  • Creating an irrelevant page (that is not fanart related) with no purpose
