Commander Gorudo
Commander Gorudo was a villain in Super Cat Tales 2. He was one of Lord Iridium's three commanders and gave orders to Commander Mizu and Commander Kobolt. He first appeared in World 1-2, after his ship crashes. Here, he meets Alex, who is knocked out by Kobolt. Later, the cats confront and destroy him in world 2, inside the giant pyramid. His parts were later used to make Robo Kitty.
Appearance[edit]
Like all the tin army leaders, Commander Gorudo has highlights of a specific colour. In his case, he has yellow highlights, with his suit buttons, shoulder pads, antennae and a small strip on the underside of his ship being yellow. He is quite fat for a Tin Commander, and is never seen walking. Instead, he always moves around in a small floating ship. Unlike Mizu and Kobolt, his legs are never seen. He is also the only tin commander never seen physically fighting or in a war, and relies on his ship's technology during battles.
Boss fight[edit]
Commander Gorudo is the boss fought at the end of World 2. In his boss fight, he uses a vehicle with spikes on its side to attack. At first, he jumps around in his vehicle, at which point the player is expected to pass underneath him to avoid being crushed. Then, after jumping for a while, he tries to use his vehicle to ram into the player. The only way to avoid being hit and dying from this attack is to climb onto the wall, at which point he accidentally slams the vehicle into the wall, damaging it. This cycle repeats 3 times and, on his third time slamming into the wall, the vehicle malfunctions from all the damage it has received and explodes, with Commander Gorudo inside of it, with his last words expressing sorrow at failing his leader.
Trivia[edit]
- It is possible to cheat this boss fight entirely by using Alex and climbing onto the wall. Due to Alex's high climb ability, Commander Gorudo cannot reach him even when jumping, and thus cannot hurt him.
