World 7 is the final world of Super Cat Tales 2. It takes place in the city of Ultima, in which the cats face and defeat Lord Iridium.

Synopsis[edit]

The cats get off the train at Ultima searching for Luna, who was kidnapped by Rigs at the end of World 6. They find and rescue Luna in a cave at Midori Park and manage to escape with her just as Rigs enters the cave.

The gang travel to Cuddle Hotel, where they stay the night, sharing rooms. Brutus and Kuro go to room 1, Shinji goes to room 2, and Luna and Amy go to room 3. Olli runs off before getting a key, stating that he needs to be alone for a while.

After the cats separate, Alex finds Olli on the rooftop of the building. Olli laments that the team will not be able to take on Dark Matter's growing power without McMeow. Alex tells Olli that McMeow would not have wanted Olli to give up so easily. Just then, McMeow's spirit appears in the full moon and motivates Olli to stand against evil with the help of his friends. As McMeow's spirit fades away, Olli tearfully thanks Alex and heads back into the hotel.

The next day, the cats check out of the hotel and head to face Lord Iridium. Along the way, they encounter many of his soldiers corrupted by Dark Matter. They eventually find and defeat him, then make their journey home on a cat-shaped hot air balloon.

7-1: Outer District[edit]

This level introduces new enemies: beanbags, Shard and smog clouds.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - To the right of the wrecking ball in the second area, the bell can be seen hidden inside a pink building. The player should go past the cannon onto the cans where a Shard enemy is situated. Using Alex, they can jump off the cans to the left and climb up the sign into the building.
  • Bell 2 - Jumping off the same cans the player used to get the first bell, the player can instead jump to the right and climb up the right building. This leads to an indoor hidden area, and the bell is found in the middle of some rotating platforms near the bottom.
  • Bell 3 - Upon encountering a set of two grey blocks on the ground, the player should switch to Brutus and stand on them to break them. This leads to an underground area in which the player must activate the two blue switches to open the door to the bell on the far right.

7-2: City Sewer[edit]

This level features many bodies of water and is mostly filled with frogs.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Kill the large brown frog in the second room.
  • Bell 2 - In the second room on the far right, the player can see a large pipe over a set of three cans on the water's surface with three kappa nearby. While standing on the middle can, the player should equip the balloon to ascend and switch to Brutus to break some grey blocks and get the bell.
  • Bell 3 - In the final room, to the left of the checkered spot, the player should jump the gap and climb up the wall. This leads to a partially hidden passage containing the bell.

7-3: Midori Park 1[edit]

This level mostly takes place in a playground filled with monkeys throwing baseballs. The player has to collect a key from World 7-4 and return to this level to rescue Luna.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - In the first area, the bell can be collected directly above the first playground slide encountered. The player needs to climb up the tree directly to the left to get on the roof, then use the balloon.
  • Bell 2 - In the area with the rotating platforms and slides, the bell can be collected from the topmost couple of slides.
  • Bell 3 - In the area with canyon moles and monkeys, the player should kill or scare away the monkey on the leftmost floating platform and use the shovel to dig up the clod of dirt.

7-4: Midori Park 2[edit]

The player must collect a key at the top of the level and return to World 7-3 to rescue Luna.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - In the second area with the trees that have beetles on them, the player should climb up the stump and jump onto the nearby tree trunks to the right to climb up the top of the trees. While jumping on the tree tops and equipped with Olli's cloak, the player can reach the top ground, where the bell is resting inside a tree.
  • Bell 2 - The player should jump into the water directly below where they found the first bell. Using Brutus' ability, they can break the two grey blocks to dive into the water. The bell is found on the centerpiece of a fire chain.
  • Bell 3 - Ascend the area with the smog clouds and spiders. There is a narrow passage that can be accessed with a balloon in between the two fire chains that leads to the key sitting atop a wooden ledge.

7-🏠: Cuddle Hotel[edit]

The player will not be able to enter the hotel until they rescue Luna. If the player enters the hotel and tries to exit while all the cats have separated, they will be blocked by a maintenance worker fixing the pipes.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - In the staff room (room 4), use the magic flute to wake the sleeping bunny. The worker will wake up and ask the player to sleep with her. After the short rest, the bunny will leave a bell by the fridge.
  • Bell 2 - In the staff room, climb up the rightmost part of the wall using Alex. A hidden opening in the ceiling leads to a hidden dark room with a pig and a bell.
  • Bell 3 - At the rooftop, use the balloon between the floating pink and rightmost grey ledges to reach a bell in a bubble at the top.
  • Gear - After defeating Lord Iridium in World 7-8, the player can return to the rooftop for a gear.

7-6: City Ruins[edit]

This is the first level where the player encounters corrupted versions of the Tin Army affected by Dark Matter.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Found in the second area on top of a pink platform above a set of three fire chains. The player can reach this by climbing on top of the first pink building encountered and landing on all disjointed platforms to the right. They may need to equip Olli's cloak to reach some of the platforms.
  • Bell 2 - When the player enters the building, they should exit through the bottom-right door, where they will encounter a giant tank enemy walking between two fire chains. They should kill this enemy for the bell.
  • Bell 3 - Exit out the top-right door and use Brutus to walk on top of the white part of the roof of the first building to the right of the fire chain. This will break two hidden grey blocks and allow the player to descend and reach the bell.

7-7: Corrupted Domain[edit]

This level introduces clear platforms and involves a lot of jumping over large gaps onto small platforms with fire chains rotating around. There is also a red checkered spot leading to the secret level that is invisible to the player.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - On the first screen, the bell can be seen inside the clear platform. Touching this platform causes it to sink, and the player should climb onto the right wall so that they can jump to the left wall and reach the bell.
  • Bell 2 - The player should climb up the left wall directly above where the first bell's position. There is a hidden passage that the player can use to travel all the way to the left and up a rope. They will be led to an area involving jumps over one-block platforms with fire chains. At the far right of this area is the bell.
  • Bell 3 - In the final area with the checkered platform, the bell can be seen atop a piece of a pillar. Using the set of three clear platforms, the player should climb up the tallest one in the middle and quickly jump off it to the right to climb up the platform and reach the bell.

Secret exit[edit]

In the first area, if the player climbs up and to the left above the glass platform where the first bell is located, they can enter through a partially visible passage where a corrupted spring soldier can be seen, along with a rope. When climbing up the rope, the player should jump off to the right instead of climbing the rope all the way up, which should land them on the red checkered pad.

7-?: Tricky Hops[edit]

This level consists of three sets of challenges in which the player must jump across gaps to reach the top of singular blocks, each with fire chains rotating around them. At the end of each screen, there is a bell. If the player falls off, they will be sent back to the level select screen.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Jump and navigate through the set of four fire chains all the way to the right.
  • Bell 2 - On the second screen, the player needs to use two fire chain blocks as platforms while avoiding the hazards to move all the way to the right. The gaps between the fire chains are wider than the first set.
  • Bell 3 - The player must navigate through a set of three fire chains with wide gaps.

7-8: Dark Lord Iridium[edit]

This level involves navigation on a red platform across multiple fire chains and features more corrupted members of the Tin Army. At the end of the level, the player faces Lord Iridium while riding a plane.

Collectables[edit]

  • Bell 1 - Kill the large tank enemy directly to the right of the red platform.
  • Bell 2 - In the third area, there is a section with two jumping corrupted soldiers in between two pillars. If the player jumps off the right pillar, they can climb up the left side of the wall into a hidden passage. Continuing to the right leads to the bell.
  • Bell 3 - Defeat Lord Iridium without taking any damage during the battle.
