Collectibles are items in Shovel Pirate. One can be found in every level.

Physical appearance

The appearance of each collectible varies per level. The items they resemble are listed below:

4. Floppy disk
5. Popsicle
6. Trophy
7. Playing cards
8. Egg
9. Fish bowl
10. Mug
11. Basketball
12. GameBoy
13. Blue cap
14. Poop
15. Coin

Behavior

Collectibles are hidden underground and must be dug up with the pirate's shovel before they can be obtained. They will be hidden in a clod or under a small lump of sand in beach levels.

Upon completing a level, the text "COLLECTIBLE OBTAINED" will be visible below the gem counter if the player has obtained the collectible for that level. The collectible progress can be tracked on the main screen through the "Collectibles" option on the menu, which is displayed as a small star button in the top-left corner on the mobile and Poki versions. On the level select screen, the "COLLECTIBLE OBTAINED" will be visible on any level where the player has gotten the collectible and completed that level at least once.

Collectibles are not necessary for completing the game, though the player can unlock an achievement for finding them all.

1		Dig the small lump directly to the left of the second tree encountered.
2		Dig the small lump to the right of the rightmost palm tree.
3		Dig the small lump to the left of the ladder found directly to the right of the first monkey.
4		Dig up the dirt clod to the right of the crow nearby the second gem.
5		Dig up the small lump found to the left of two palm trees in a short pit.
6		Use the shovel on the small lump of sand to the right of the second fence.
7		Dig up the right clod of dirt on the ground below the player's starting point.
8		Dig the dirt clod to the left of the leftmost headstone.
9		Dig the dirt clod to the right of the flag pole.
10		The collectible can be found in the lump of sand at the very left of the level.
11		There are two small lumps of sand seen nearby to the right of the third fence. Dig the small lump on the right side.
12		Dig up the dirt clod directly to the right of the small grassy platform with four radish shoots.
13		Dig up the middle dirt clod after climbing the ladder nearby by a trap.
14		Dig the dirt clod to the left of the trap to the right of the dirt clod with the second gem. To trigger the trap without taking damage, the player can push the tribe minion on the right side of the trap.
15		Found in the dirt clod directly to the left of the flag pole. The player should dig facing the flag pole, as digging in the opposite direction will push the collectible into the spike pit.

Trivia

• Many collectibles are a reference to the pickups found in Roar Rampage.
• The collectible in level 14 can also be found in Drop Wizard Tower.
• The collectible in level 15 has the same appearance as coins in the Super Cat Tales series.
