Mouse
Mice are enemies in Shovel Pirate. They are found in beach, graveyard and jungle levels.
Physical appearance[edit]
Mice have a round gray body with a pointy snout. Their nose, insides of their two round ears, two feet and tail are colored pink. They have a pair of thin black eyes and a white cheek spot.
Behavior[edit]
Mice can be found hidden under certain clods, in a fixed location per level. The mouse will only be revealed if the pirate digs up that particular clod. If a mouse is dug up, it will run in one continuous direction, falling off ledges but turning at walls. In some levels, mice can already be found running back and forth, usually in groups.
Strategy[edit]
Mice can be defeated with a single hit from the shovel. If the player digs up a mouse, using the shovel continuously while facing the mouse will allow them to defeat the enemy if it runs in their direction. In jungle levels, mice can be used to trigger traps due to their ability to fall to lower platforms.
