Fence
Fences are interactive objects in Shovel Pirate. They can be found in beach, graveyard and jungle levels.
Physical appearance[edit]
Fences are rectangular with rounded corners. They have a purple border and a black lattice pattern. A blue rod intersects the middle of the fence vertically.
Behavior[edit]
Fences are found covering holes in walls. If the player hits the fence with the pirate's shovel, they will be taken behind the wall, similarly to the moving behavior of snakes. When walking behind walls, the player will be protected from any hazards or enemies in front of the wall, but will not be able to exit outside the bounds of the wall while they are behind one. The player must hit a fence to go back in the front part of the wall. Some gems can be found in areas only accessible by using fences to go behind the wall.
