Hoop and Pop is a point and click game released on June 10, 2010. Players, using their mouse, circle similar groups of objects in order to "pop" them. The goal is to "pop" the required number of objects before time runs out.

Modes[edit]
Hoop and Pop has two modes, both playable at the start of a new game. The player's goal is to group objects with the requirements laid out at the start of the stage by circling them while working against a timer. Circling two or more objects with the same characteristics causes the objects to "pop" and disappear from the level. Grouping more of the same objects together scores the player more points per object. If the player circles objects that have differing characteristics from the level's conditions, they will lose a heart. The game is over when the player loses all hearts or the timer hits 0. There is no penalty for allowing objects to leave the screen.
Tournament[edit]
Tournament Mode is divided into three cups: Air, Animal and Sport. Each cup has six levels and features objects that fit the theme of its category. The player can enter any of the three cups when first playing the game, but must complete all the levels within the cup sequentially in order to win the trophy.
At the start of each level, a popup appears, telling the player how many objects they need to pop and what attributes they have to group the objects by. Each group of properly circled objects contributes towards a counter in the bottom HUD. The player must pop the total number of required objects in order to beat the level.

Leaves fall from the top of the screen to the bottom off-screen. They can fall at different speeds, regardless of their colour. As they fall, they rotate. | |

Spaceships enter from either the left or right side of the screen and move in a straight trajectory horizontally to the opposite side. They rock back and forth as they move, and the base spins in a counterclockwise direction. |

Moles pop out from one of the lumps of dirt in the ground. They remain out for five in-game seconds, then disappear into the ground again. There are twenty possible spots for a mole to emerge from. | |

Ladybugs start from the bottom of the screen and move upwards. As they walk, they make a left or right turn, or continue forward, until they are off-screen. The degree at which they steer off varies. | |

Snails enter from either the left or the right side of the screen and move horizontally until they are off-screen on the opposite side. Part way along their journey, they will retreat into their shells, completely concealing their body for a brief moment. They will then re-emerge and continue their normal moving pattern. | |

Parachutes are attached to people and enter from the top of the screen and exit at the bottom. As they fall, they tilt from side to side. Some parachute users may cover the images of other parachute users, thus obscuring which images match. |
Survival[edit]
In Survival Mode, the player is put in one continuous level that only ends if the player runs out of lives or the timer goes to 0.

Pick ups[edit]
Pickups can appear in both Tournament and Survival mode. To activate their powers, the player must circle the powerup with at least one of the goal objects. If circling multiple goal objects, they must match based on the requirements of the level when circled alongside the powerup.
Star pickup - Turns all objects on screen into the same objects that were circled with the pickup.
Freeze pickup - All objects are given a blue tint and remain frozen for a few seconds. This can sometimes obscure the colours of the objects.
Bomb pickup - Destroys all objects on screen immediately and contributes these objects to the point count as though they were matching objects.
Clock pickup - Adds 20 seconds to the timer.
Heart pickup - Grants the player an extra life. Although the player starts with three hearts, they are able to get more lives than what they started out with.
Backgrounds[edit]
Each level has a unique background that features at least one aspect with a pair of eyes and sometimes other facial features.
