Snacks are pickups in the Double Panda series.

Function

In the Flash version of Double Panda, a variety of snacks can be collected by both Giant Panda and Red Panda for additional points to be added to the player's current score. Each type of snack will give the player a certain amount of the points, with the highest amount being 250 for the fortune cookie. If the fortune cookie is collected, the master will deliver its message at the bottom of the screen.

In Swap-Swap Panda and the Poki version of Double Panda, cupcakes are the only type of snack in the game. Three cupcakes can be found in every level except for level 20. Instead of granting points, cupcakes can restore the player's health if they have taken damage within the level. Cupcakes collected are shown in a popup once the level is completed and the player must obtain all of them to unlock level 20 and beat the game.

Messages

If the player collects a fortune cookie, they will receive a message. There are three fortune cookies in the game in total.

• Level 5 - "You will submit a fantastic score!"
• Level 8 - "Red archers will cause you troubles!"
• Level 13 - "Online games rule!!"
