The evil master is a boss that appears in the final level of the Double Panda series.

Accessing

The evil master is fought in level 20. In Swap-Swap Panda and the Poki version of Double Panda, the player needs to collect all three cupcakes (called "snacks" in the level select) in each of the previous nineteen levels to unlock the final level. The Flash version does not have this requirement and can be entered as soon as the player completes level 19.

Behaviour

The evil master spawns in at the top of the screen and will begin moving horizontally between the two tall pillars of platforms. Periodically, the evil master will fire a pink orb towards Red Panda. The evil master will continue to target Red Panda unless Red Panda is on one of the higher platforms, of which the evil master will fire at Giant Panda instead. In the Poki version of Double Panda and Swap-Swap Panda, the evil master will occasionally fire at Giant Panda if both pandas are on the ground, but will primarily target Red Panda.

Strategy

Since the lowest of the elevated platforms is not high enough to reach by jumping alone on either side, the player should use Red Panda as a boost for Giant Panda to reach the first of these platforms. The player can then have Giant Panda can then jump to the highest of the platforms and leap onto the evil master's head once in range while regularly switching to Red Panda to dodge the orbs. If the player presses the opposite direction key after bouncing, they can land back on the platform they jumped from without having to climb up again. After jumping on the evil master's head three times, the boss will be defeated and the player will be taken to the ending screen.
