Tiles
Tiles are interactive objects in Sky Island. There are two types of tiles Moon tiles and Star tiles.
Moon tiles[edit]
Appearance[edit]
Moon tiles are light blue and carved onto a grey tile. That grey tile is always lodged into a side of a platform.
Game information[edit]
Moon tiles can kill enemies if enemies walk onto them. The player will have to change the angle since enemies will always turn when they come towards a moon tile. Sometimes killing enemies on moon tiles can be difficult because the player must remember where the moon tile is located.
Star tiles[edit]
Appearance[edit]
Star tiles are carved onto a grey block that is always lodged on a side of a platform. When a star tile is untouched they will appear grey but when one is touched a certain part of them will glow yellow.
Game information[edit]
In levels that star tiles appear in, there are always five of them. If the Sun's Scale touches one a certain area will light up on them. Once all five are touched the star on them will turn yellow and any black blocks in the level will disappear.
