Stars are pickups necessary for level completion in Sky Island.
Appearance[edit]
Each star is solid white, with curved points.
Game information[edit]
Stars appear in all levels and must be collected in order to allow the player get on the finish tile and proceed to the next level. When touched by the sun scale, they grant the player 500 points. In later levels, stars are hidden behind enemies and blocks which only become visible once put into perspective. Sometimes enemies will have to be defeated for the sun scale to get the star they are holding.
