why remove the pages?[edit]

why did random storykeeper remove the pages for the enemies in this game? I understand wanting to place them in a neat table, but now they won't show up in the enemies category.Steamlazer (talk) 06:48, May 3, 2020 (UTC)

The pages were removed because the enemies only show up in Dream Tower (thus far) and the pages themselves didn't really have a lot of content on them. In terms of navigation, it doesn't make sense to have individual pages for enemies that just walk back and forth, for example. While it could be added that such enemies can die from being jumped on, these characteristics can be compared against multiple enemies and I think overall, having it in a table format is a much easier way to view and compare information against other enemies from the same game.
I don't think this format necessarily works for every game, but I do think it at least works best for the browser games, particularly the earlier ones. The presentation of information is important to take into consideration, especially if pretty much everything can be summed up from an enemy article into a few cells in a table and remove all the excessive parts. When creating the tables, I didn't see a need for these pages to exist, since all the important information was already on the table and is much easier to compare against the other enemies, which would have been less feasible if they were individual pages.
None of the components will show up in their respective categories anymore, but I don't think that in itself is grounds for recreating the pages. The categories were never meant to show all the possible enemies, just the pages that happen to fall under said categories. The only enemies I can see warranting their own pages would be recurring enemies in the Neutronized universe, because their information spans across multiple games and they can't be kept on just one page. Although maybe the same can be said about interactive objects, but I think enemies are far more notable, given their official names and descriptions from various bestiaries like Yokaipedia. This is why the Dark Matter article still exists and is linked in the Boss section of Dream Tower. (There were actually two basically duplicate articles for Dark Matter, but I've since removed one.)
There are going to be a lot less enemy pages - or any pages about individual components - in their respective categories going forward. I'm planning to make more tables of other browser games - and who knows, maybe it will work for the mobile games to some extent. But for now, the browser games are going to be the main focus. ~ Random-StoryKeeper 18:48, May 4, 2020 (UTC)
