Platforms

Platforms are interactive objects in Snow Tale. There are four types of platforms which are listed below.

Red platforms

Red platforms

Appearance

Red platforms are rectangular. They are red and have some dark red splotches.

Game information

Red platforms appear commonly in number and are first found on level 7. Often they are placed above pits and the penguin may have to double jump to get to one. Once the penguin is on top of a red platform, it will start to fall to the ground making the Penguin have to quickly jump to another platform. Though after a red platform has fallen to the ground, a few second later it will rise back up to where it was before.

Blue platforms

Appearance

Blue platforms are rectangular and have a dark blue outline surrounding them. The rest of the platform is a mixture of various shades of dark blue.

Game information

Blue platforms first appear in level 8. These platforms will slowly disappear after the penguin has stepped on one. A few second later the blue platform will reappear. Blue platforms are commonly found in numbers.

Green platforms

Appearance

Green platforms are rectangular and have a dark blue outline going around them. A wheel that is a mixture of various shades of brown is stuck on one end of the platform. Like the wheel, the green platform is a mixture of various shades of light green.

Game information

Green platforms first appear on level 6. Green platforms will move up if the penguin throws snowballs at it's wheel. The penguin must repeatedly throw snowballs at the wheel or the platform will drop all the way to the ground.

The positioning of the snowball throwing must be correct, otherwise the platform won't go up. It is sometimes difficult to get of green platforms as there may not be enough time to jump onto the next platform. Green platforms are commonly found in numbers.

Yellow platforms

Appearance

Yellow platforms are thin, rectangular, and have a brown outline going around them. Yellow platforms are various shades of orange and yellow.

Game information

Yellow platforms first appear in level 5. These platform will move back and fourth after certain amount of time has past. Often the penguin has to quickly jump over spikes that are in the path off the yellow platform as well as jump quickly to other platforms.
