Dragons

A fire dragon blows out its attack above Mimelet's head.

Dragons are enemies in Mimelet that come in two slightly different variations which are called Red dragons and Fire dragons. Both grant Mimelet the fire power when he jumps on one. Below the types of dragons are listed.

Appearance

Red dragons or so called for their body is mostly red. They have round bodies and gold on their chins and some on their head. They have black eyes that are always in the same position and two triangle like spikes on the back of their head. The largest spike on the back of their heads is a brighter yellow then the bottom one.

Game information

Red dragons are introduced in level 2. They don't attack on Mimelet and one usually occupies a single platform at a time. Jumping on top of one will gain Mimelet the fire ability. If Mimelet loses the fire ability he can go back to where the red dragon for it would have resapwned. If Mimelet touches the red dragon anywhere but the head, a life will be lost.

Appearance

Fire dragons have round bodies and black eyes that are always in the same position. They have light grey chins and red on their foreheads. The rest of their body is dark brown and two triangle shaped spikes are on the back of their heads. The smallest spike on the back of their heads is much darker red then the larger one.

Game information

Fire dragons have the same appearance as the red dragons, aside from their dark colours. The only difference between both enemies is that these dragons will pause periodically to attack by breathing out fire from their mouths. The attack will hurt Mimelet and subtract one of his lives if he gets within range of the attack. Mimelet is still able to jump on a dragon while it is attacking, though. This enemy first appears in level 8.
