Gameplay[edit]
The player controls a dinosaur with the goal of defeating all the enemies in each level. The dinosaur can stomp the ground nearby enemies to stun them, then push them in their stunned state to defeat them. Rolling multiple enemies together will create an avalanche effect and drop higher-value point items. Once all enemies are cleared from a level, the player will automatically progress to the next stage.
Worlds[edit]
Dino Quake is set across multiple worlds, each with their own set of five levels and bosses. After completing the first world, the player will be presented with two doors leading to two other worlds, of which they must select one to go through.

Poki version[edit]
A free-to-play browser version of Dino Quake was officially released on the Poki website on November 26, 2025, but became available to play as early as October 26, 2025.
The player controls Mina in one-player mode, with the second player controlling Kiwi in the two-player mode. Mina and Kiwi are the only playable characters in this version.
Unlike the paid version and demo, the Poki version lacks doors and branching paths. The following worlds available in this version are played in a consistent linear order as follows:
Differences from the full version[edit]
- There is no opening cutscene.
- There is no options menu, and the audio toggle button is instead placed near the pause button.
- Upon startup, the player is put straight into the tutorial stage without the title screen appearing first.
- Should the player run out of lives, they are given two options: end the run or watch an ad to revive.
- The Skull world only has three levels instead of five. When the player defeats the Ghost skeleton, the game is completed.
