Gameplay[edit]

The game has four lily pads with dotted vertical lines above each pad. Every level, a set of four enemies will descend, one down each vertical line. The player must defeat the enemies using bullets fired by frogs placed on the lily pads. By placing a frog on top of another with the same tier, the two frogs will merge into one frog at the subsequent tier. There is a 3x3 grid to the left or below the lily pads where the player can purchase additional frogs and perform additional merges. The game ends when an enemy reaches the lily pad.

Enemies[edit]

Enemies always start at the top of the line and continuously descend until they are defeated or reach the lily pad. A set of the same four enemies will appear simultaneously at the beginning of each level. Once all enemies in the set are defeated, the next level will spawn another set of four enemies with a different appearance. Enemies will drop coins while they are being damaged and will drop a larger amount of coins when they are destroyed.

There are 50 enemies, used for one set of 4 per level. If the player clears level 49, that same enemy will continue to spawn in each subsequent level until the player gets a game over.

Frogs[edit]

Frogs are spawned into the 3x3 grid using the pink purchase button. Each frog unit costs a certain amount of coins, which increases as the starting tiers increase. If a frog of the same tier is placed on top of another, the two will merge and become the subsequent tier. If the tiers are different when a frog is placed on top of the other, the two frogs will swap positions.

Frogs that are placed on the lily pads will fire bullets in a constant stream along the vertical line. Higher tier frogs will shoot bullets at a faster rate. There are 25 tiers of frogs, each with their own unique appearance. When two tier 25 frogs are merged together, they will remain at the 25 tier, but will continue to merge into one unit.

Every 5 levels, the starting tier that can be purchased will increase by 1. Any tiers lower than the starting tier on the board will automatically be upgraded.

Powerups[edit]

Powerups are located between the 3x3 grid and lily pads or above the grid on phones in portrait mode. Most can be purchased with coins gained from defeating enemies. Players can still use a powerup if they have an insufficient amount of coins by watching an ad.

Powerups will double in price every 5 levels.

  • Fire - Damages all enemies that are on-screen.
  • Hammer - Knocks back all enemies on-screen farther up their lines.
  • Jewel - Increases the tier of all frogs on-screen by 1. This powerup can only be used when watching an ad.
